Australian Explosives Industry and Safety Group Incorporated (AEISG Inc.)

Background
Name of the Association:

1.1 The name of the Association is the Australian Explosives Industry and Safety Group
Incorporated (“AEISG”). The AEISG has been incorporated pursuant to the
Associations Incorporation Act 1984 (NSW).

The AEISG was formerly an unincorporated association, which was the successor
organisation to the Australian Explosives Manufacturers Safety Committee, a body which
was formed in September 1994.

1.2 Chief Executive Officer
It was resolved at a general meeting of the AEMSC held on 25 July 2003 that a part time
employee, to have the title Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”), be employed to manage the
administrative affairs of the group, to focus its activities and to take on the general
administrative business formerly carried on by the Chairman of the day.

1.3 Delegated powers

All powers, duties and responsibilities of the Chief Executive Officer are delegated to the CEO by the Chairman. The Chairman retains ultimate responsibility for the affairs of the AEISG.
